Rules HAH! I told you I will update soon. ==" I have some things to inform and WARN you all about. Since band practices will resume on Tuesday (20th oct 2009), I want to make this very clear to everyone~~~ I wonder if anyone still visits the band blog. Lol, but either way I'm still going to say this. Are you all clear of band rules at all? ==" PO, QM and librarian rules also. Ok, I don't care if you know or don't know the rules. You are supposed to know anyway. SO READ ON, because you've committed a lot of CRIMES! 1) LEAVING YOUR DRINKS ON THE SHELF OUTSIDE THE BAND ROOM AFTER BAND PRACTICES. Hello, it's prohibited? Did you know that? ==" You have to clear it yourself ok. And you can't leave your drinks there without labels. WHICH MEANS, if you want to leave your drinks there, label it with your name and dispose it after every band practice. PLEASE NOT: NO BUBBLETEA OR PACKET DRINKS ARE ALLOWED. NO FOOD ALLOWED EITHER. (those open already cannot close one. suddenly forgot what's it called already) 2) PING PONG PIANG! Your instruments very nice to knock is it? What if it suffers from severe brain damage leh? You got money to pay for it's medical fees? Ok, maybe not brain damage, but you know what I mean. IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I MEAN, I meant that, what if it is dented till the condition where it will affect your playing or the sound or whatever? Do you have money to pay for the reparations? So it also means that if you're very rich, you're more than welcomed to buy us a new instrument. =D Same thing goes for dropping of instruments and mouthpiece. 3) APPEARANCE! Want to look like ghost is it? So long nails for what? You think you taking manicure lessons ah. ==" If PO say CUT then you CUT, no tomorrow or next practice. CUT MEANS CUT. If I see anyone not cutting your nails before you come for band practice, I'll make sure you have no more nails to cut. 4) %$#! #$^**%@#%$&#$^@!!@$!@$%&$!!! Why so rude and crude? Must you hurl vulgarities? Say already got prize meh, alamak. No prize + defame yourself. Why do that? Be civilised! Speak nicely and settle problems in a civilised manner. It works better. In fact, when other people scold and tease you, just smile back at them as if their some clown lah. It works, seriously. AND, the next time I see or hear any of you hurling vulgarities for what ever reasons, I make sure you can't even talk. So it also means that if you point middle finger or whatever, MUAHAHAHAHA. 5) Stop being late. Come on time and we can be dismissed on time. OK? As mentioned before, tuition and projects is not a valid excuse. You know very well that you have band practices on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. So don't arrange them on those days THANK YOU. 6) The band room is not your rubbish bin. I see litter almost everywhere in the band room. And hello, why are there textbooks lying around also. ==" And who's Macdonald cup is that? The one that's always on the table right next to the front door. The shoe bag? Wait, sorry, the SHOE BAGS? Lol. Who's are those? For your information, the dustbin is located right in front of the door. Once you step into the band room, look straight and look down, the dustbin is there. Isn't it so convenient? After every practice, you pick up all the litter that you see, throw it into the dustbin and then you may walk out of the band room already. SO CONVENIENT! It's not like the dustbin and the door is located at different ends of the band room right. TISSUES some more (this one is especially tuba section). COME ON! Practice good hygiene habits! Clarinet and Saxophone also, say how many times already, when you take a new reed, don't throw the plastic onto the floor. THROW IT IN THE DUSTBIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you're not the ones, then good. If you are the ones, please feel guilty. ==" 7) Keep all files and stands after every practice. Don't want to see anymore files on the chairs, or stands left standing there. Although they are called stands, they are not meant to stand 24/7. Also, please do not leave them unattended. The same goes for your instruments as well. I (librarians and QMs as well) do not want to see any files or instruments lying around unattended. 8) MCs and parent's letter. 'Oops, next practice'... 'Omg I forget again, next practice' then as the times pass, gone. Please hand in your MCs and parent's letter on time. Which is the next band practice that you attend. If not, be prepared. Note: Parent's letter must include parent's signature and phone number. Make sure it's a number that can be contacted. 9) Please hand in forms on time! You all like to be chased is it? If so, find yourself an admirer. ==" If we mentioned the dateline to you, please please PLEASE hand it in on that day, or even better, before that. You don't like it when people owe you things, right? Same theory. 10) One speaker at a time. Please, please, please do not talk among yourselves when someone is trying to speak. It's very rude, and it drags people's time also. It's also very rude to interrupt. If you have something to say, or something to ask, wait till the person finish off what they want to say, then you ask. =) Especially during full band. If you have something really important to say among yourselves, whisper. And that very important thing doesn't include fooling around. 11) No torn or crumpled scores, please. Keep them in good condition, even if they're not originals. Even so, I do not want to see your files CLEAN like just printed like that. WRITE SOMETHING DOWN ON YOUR SCORES! Take down EVERYTHING that the conductor said. How it must be played, etc. I'm very sure none of you have nothing to take down. So yea, sorry for the lengthy post. =) Please bear this in mind and do not repeat the same crimes again. THANK YOU =) If found convicting those crimes mentioned above, you shall be heavily sentenced. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. LOVE~~~~ tingwei |
