Workshops by Kunitachi College of Music Faculty Members and Toshio Akiyama. Items that will be taught at this workshop include: Planning for sectional rehearsal Warm up & Tuning Breathing Technique Leadership and Management Skills Understanding Instrument Uniqueness and Flaws Dynamic and Balance Control Instrument Workshop Targeted at band members of secondary school bands and post secondary schools, this workshop aims to provide participants with a better understanding on instrument playing as musicians from the KCM share with participants the practical skills and technique of music making. Through active participation and demonstration, participants will be encouraged to apply the skills and imitate after the instrumentalist to achieve qualities in aspects such as tone production, breathing and blowing techniques, articulation and more. All workshops will be conducted in English Musicians:

Message for all There will be drill lessons conducted this few days, hope as many Sec 3s can make it as possible. Selecting Drill Leaders for Drill Squads soon, please attend! Don't know when drills will start but, during the camp there will surely be. Anybody are allowed to come and join, but i hope more Sec 3s come! Out of the last 2 drill lessons, only 2 people (Kalai & Alex) have managed to learn everything.. Work hard! Please also remember to come back for self practise.. Section Leaders, if you are able to, learn from Sasi(saxophone SL)!!! conduct self sectionals and call back your members! We mus twork hard for the EOY concert, be it shared or not.
