reading of notes Reading notes on both Treble and Bass Clef is simple!! hahahaha! here's some of the tips larh!!! this is actually adapted from the theory notes. Enjoy~ Kelvin =P Flute Section The treble clef is not easy to draw at first. It curls around the second line (G) of the staff (starting form left to right). The top of the clef should be just above the stave, the bottom just below it. For example,  Treble clef is usually used by instruments such as flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, trumpet and horn. How to read notes using treble clef? Easiest way to learn reading treble clef:  On line (from bottom to top): Every Good Boy Dies First  On space (from bottom to top): FACE The bass clef has a dot on either side of the second staff line down. A note on this line is F. you can see the names of the notes written in the bass clef on the staff below:  The easiest way of learning how to read notes using bass clef:  On line (from bottom to top): Gundu Buy Dog For Ali  On Space (from bottom to top): All Cows Eat Grass Bass Clef is usually used by instruments including Tuba, Euphonium, Trombone and Bassoon. Just a Reminder Just a reminder for all my fellow Band mates, Band practices are on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS for now. Band practices will most probably stand down after our September holidays. For now, please endure the Tuesday and Thursday practices. On Fridays, the Band room will be open. We strongly encourage you to come back for self-sectionals. There will also be a [Scales test] coming up, on the 26th of July. You guys should've known about it. Good luck and work hard!! There will also be a Band camp this coming September holidays, on the 3rd to the 5th. It is a 3D2N camp from Monday to Wednesday. Please kindly make arrangements to "siam" all your vactations (if you have any) for the camp. It will be made compulsory, as Mrs Ng have said that day. The camp will be focused on our music, but rest assured that it will be fun also. We will be planning fun activities for you guys also! Please also make sure everyone work hard for the next 2 performances for the National Day! The Prime Minister will be there for our performance, so give it your best shot! Today is the first day that Mr Chiang took over us. Since I was at the back.. I will tell you our story.. Percussion was on fire.. even though there was air-con.. I felt hot.. really.. We wanted to prove ourselves.. WE WILL DO IT.. That spirit was coming back.. I LIKE IT.. WAHAHA.. I don't know about you guys.. but.. WE WERE HOT! |
