ooooo..... ppl...i tink we got a new member in band... Karabo....an african guy..in my class...im not sure if he pernament cuz he said he got football prac evryday..outside one...heex...nth to do...update u guys on this lohrx... Diyan... Dearest bandmates, Dont be so disappointed that we play very badly and ended up go home late. And mr.leng scold us is for our own good. lf he never scold us,we'll not awake and start to play well. So chongboon band let aim for GOLD WITH HONOUR or GOLD. Like what qingda say we'll never say DIE ! Die die also must force ourselves to wake up and play well. This is Shawn! =) From January till the last practice i attended, (27.3.2007), I've seen and heard a significant improvement from the band! This has shown me that the band is determined to do well in the coming SYF judging! It has given me hope that the band can perform at the standard that it was at 2 years ago, and eventually surpass that level of performance! =) With the SYF competition just around the corner, I would like to see the band come together not just as people with instruments in their hands but as an actual family to focus and push each other on to give it all you guys got! ALL THE BEST!!! =D To all bandmates, Please polish your instruments and keep them in the best condition for the coming SYF. And please send me the sectional photo as soon as possible by this sunday. And also please purchase the white long sleeves shirt,socks etc... stuff for syf before syf start. And also ex-senior here to tell you that this friday is our speech day rehersal. SYF Balloting Timing HEY PEEPS! This is Kelvin here. Here's the list of the balloting timing for the whole SYF competition which will last for 6 days. Singapore Youth Festival 2007: Central Judging for Concert Bands (Secondary Schools) Order of Appearance             Click on the "picture" for a better view! hahahaha! Do work hard for syf!!! as you guys will be competiting with good schools!!! though they're just a bronze or silver band. Who knows, they might be like Orchid Park Sec Sch.. From COP (2003) to Gold With Honours (2005). Take note that Anderson Sec Sch was ONCE a gold band in 2003! though they got a silver for the last syf, it doesn't mean that they won't get a gold this yr! I beilieve they will! so must we! WE MUST SUSTAIN OUR GOLD MEDAL!!! and do CHONG BOON proud!!! hee.. Put in your effort in every practice as well as sectionals, like in Pasir Ris Crest Sec Sch, they are having sectionals / self practice EVERYDAY. And their curriculum hours starts at 7.25am till 3.45pm! After that, they HAVE to go for practice without complains! They have the determination to fight for it! and keep the title "East Zone Centre of Excellence for Music"! hahahaha... So do work hard, endure, PERSEVERE WITH PRIDE! and you guys will sure make it! Dont panic lf you dont have/cant buy or whatever stuff especially sec 2,you still got alot time to purchase one before SYF start. For the older one lei,try to bring it by tomorrow.
